Activate REALLY Wireless on Android

Summary

Activating your REALLY service is magical. It’s just a few steps, and we’ve done it thousands and thousands of times. If you’re bringing your number from another wireless carrier, there is one extra step prior to activation to transfer or “port” your number, which we will explain below.

  1. Choose your plan and purchase

  2. Choose a new phone number or bring your current number

    1. If porting your number over you need to get the following information from the carrier you are porting from ( done after purchase)

      1. Port Out PIN

      2. Account Number

      3. Zipcode

  3. Activate eSIM 

  4. Optimize phone settings to make sure they are correct for REALLY

Before you start:

  • Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Do not cancel your current service:

    • Wait until activation is complete so that you never lose service.

  • Have your transfer info ready:

    • If you are planning to bring your number you will need to get the following information from your provider: Account Number, Transfer PIN, Billing Zip Code.

  • Prep Your Phone

    • Make sure your phone is unlocked from the previous carrier and that your phone is up to date on the latest software.

If you have already purchased your plan but chose to activate later follow these steps:

  1. Go to my.really.com and log in using the method you created an account with during purchase (email or phone number)

  2. You will be taken to activate your phone upon logging in

  3. Choose your verification method (email or recovery phrase)

  4. Your email verification will be sent to the email you entered and email will be verified.

  5. Transfer your number from previous carrier *see Bringing your number from Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile or other carriers

If you are bringing your number from another carrier you'll need to complete step #5 prior to activation!

Now for Activation:

  1. Make sure your device software is up to date.

  2. Connect to Wi-Fi. Just like if you were at a physical phone store you need to be connected to Wi-Fi to ensure a smooth set up.


    1. If using a QR code, make sure you have a different device than the one you are activating service on. You will need to have your device available to scan the QR code. 

    2. You can install the eSIM without another device by entering in the provided eSIM details manually.

  3. Remove active pSIMS and delete or turn off any unused eSIMS.(When you are installing a new eSIM but have old SIMs active or even just installed, it may confuse your phone and disrupt the new eSIM installation process. It is possible for old SIMs to be interfering with the new one.)

  4. If transferring your phone number enter your Account Number, Billing Zip Code, and Transfer PIN.

  5. Open up your cellular settings to scan QR code. Please note that Androids vary on where to add an eSIM in their settings. Please make sure to look up how to do so on your specific Android.

  6. Service will automatically download to your phone!

Check your settings to make your service is the best it can be

  • Enable WiFi calling

  • Set REALLY as your default line

  • Enable Data Roaming

  • Enable “5G Auto”

  • Setup Voicemail
